We use two types of pneumatic transport systems:
1) Under pressure (propelling vessels);
2) Suction (blowers).
The first type can be used with propelling vessels or blowers (depending on product characteristics); the second is used with blowers. Products are transported in low-pressure dense phase to avoid breakage of pelletized materials, particularly carbon black and silica (in tire manufacturing). Machine sizes are defined based on transport needs, such as requested flow capacity and distance.
